where does steam workshop download maps killing floor 2

He also mentioned that when I go on Killing Floor, there should be a little thing in the top right telling me it's installing/downloading the maps, but I see no such thing. I've also talked to my friend who also has downloaded a map in workshop, though he's had no issues.

I know its not the maps im personally downloading that are faulty, since they're on the most popular page. I have checked killing floors files, and noticed nothing odd, I have uninstalled and reinstalled Killing Floor to no avail, and have even checked the cache of the game. Unfortunately, when the download finishes and I start up killing floor and check my maps, I see none of the new maps that steam said it downloaded. So when I go into steam workshop and 'subscribe' to the maps, steam notifies me that the maps are downloading. However, with the new feature of workshop, I thought I'd try and download some maps. I use an iMac and run killing floor on steam, with no issues. I know this has been brought to attention before in the steam community, but I was never able to find a definite solution or answer.
